Founded by the vendor over 10 years ago, the business is only now being reluctantly offered for sale as he plans to re-locate back home to New Zealand.
Although the principle business activity is air conditioning, it also does ventilation, extraction, refrigeration and heating and offers a service and maintenance facility.
90% of turnover is trade based with excellent blue chip customers, such as well known national banks, with a work schedule of up to 6 months in advance.
Domestic work is mainly fitting green heating and hot water systems.
Although customers are spread nationally, most are within an approximate 80 mile radius of the premises in Hertfordshire.
The vendor works full time managing the business and is assisted by a contracts manager who also works on installations, as well as 3 full time service engineers, 1 full time office staff member and 2 part time office staff members, who each work circa 18 hours per week.
The business has a policy of ensuring its own staff members are fully employed at all times, whilst using experienced sub contractors for any excess work.
