For sale is the VW campervan hire business, Wildwanderer. It is ideal to be run as a part time business, as an add on to another related business or by an individual to cover the costs of owning a campervan for their own use. It is currently based south of Bristol but is perfectly re-locatable and can easily be run from home. It is for sale with or without the current campervan. We are selling due to a position change in my main job meaning, most likely, a move abroad. The sale includes the 1971 VW campervan fully equipped with all hire equipment, ready to go. A Fiamma bike rack, 2 berth awning & roof racks, the website, Wildwanderer name, all customer enquiries to date, good will and knowledge to run the hire business. The company is currently being run as a sole tradership, is not VAT registered and has no debts. We currently have just one vehicle which we also use ourselves for personal holidays. But there is clearly potential here to expand and add additional vehicles. Having only launched our website in mid April it has been attracting over 1000 visits per month for the last three months, resulting in 65 e-mail and numerous phone enquiries, as of the end of July and this on an advertising spend of just £ 150. We have therefore easily achieved our first year sales target of 10 hires, a mix of both full and part weeks fitting around our own use of the camper with a turnover to the end of July of £ 4800. A realistic expectation of next year would be 15 full weeks hire with a turnover of approx £ 9000 to £ 10,000. A week's hire in peak season is £ 650 plus extras (awning, bike rack, food hampers etc) and profit can be increased by accepting 2 short hires in a week. Plus potential for wedding hire.
