Sorry they are not, to save space for my storage and save postage charge, I asked supplier to remove the jewel case. For every item you sell you need to value these into your cost : £0.024 per address lable, £0.10 per jewel case, £0.069 per padded envelope, £0.05 per disc repair, £0.467 for First Class mail postage or £0.37 for Second Class mail postage. In total, every single item from pack, repair, package to postage will cost £0.71 for send by First Class mail, or £0.613 for send by Second Class mail. Your profit?
When I list them, I set the items price start from £0.01, all of them are the lowest price in same condition, so it will make them sell fastest and uncompetitive for new seller, if you are a experienced seller and with good feedback, just adjust the start price by tools to make you more profit. Let me do the math for you, for example, if you are an experienced seller on amazon, you would know items with salesrank less than 400,000 would sell extremely fast (it doesn't means items with lower sales rank couldn't sell, just a little bit slower than those). I just quoted 14,384 items in the salesrank less than 100,000 on amazon,These CDs value are £50,874.82 (even the lowest price per item is £0.01), for every CD ship to UK you sell on amazon, you could get £1.21 postage from customer, then you will get £17404.64 postage for 14.384 items. Amazon will charge 15% commission charge for the total value, you could get (50,874.82+17,404.64)*85%=58037.54 from Amazon, minus the £10,212.64 costs for send them as First Class mail and every thing costs, and count 1%(maximum) defect/refund rate into it, you could get £47,346.65 for only the top 100,000 salesrank items. Don't forget, the top 400,000s are all sell very fast. And I have given you free gifts could save you lots of costs. Remember, that is the minimum amount you could make for the top 100,000s, it is the only suggestion for new seller on Amazon to sell faster and build feedback more quickly, if you are an experienced seller and have proper feedback already, simply limit the lowest price and ignore the other seller from outside UK. The outcome would be massive. For all the inventory, CDs value are £149,541.02, with most of items' sales rank are less than 200,000, you could easily make Triple profits in a very short term.
