Of the Republic of Ireland and one Stentorfield "Fresh Brew" hot drinks machine. With the exception of six Pringles Vending Machines (PVM's) all machines are sited in various locations in and around Southampton, Gosport, Romsey, Andover and Bournemouth. The six PVM's that are not sited are currently in my garage however all are in 100% serviceable condition and need to be re-sited. The Pringles crisps vend at £1.20 and the hot drinks at 50p which provides an average nett profit of around 37% on current monthly turnovers of £1100.00 - £1200.00. I must emphasise that this represents around two days work per week which is filled by servicing the sites by topping up stocks and collecting the cash takings. There are no accounts or franchise fees and sites receive a commission based on total sales which are paid quarterly in arrears. I have had to accept that although the business provides a very useful secondary income stream, due to the fact that I am now also in full-time employment it has become impossible to spend the required time on the on-going development and re-siting of underperforming PVM's. Of the total of 23 sited machines roughly half of those are in what I would describe as productive sites. These include such places as leisure centres, go-kart tracks and swimming pools. The balance of the PVM's would ideally need to be re-sited and although there is an endless list of potential sites ranging from night-clubs to play centres, it requires the time and tenacity to get out there and fine tune one's entrepreneurial talents! Based upon the actual sales turnovers from the previous 3 years I am able to show that the monthly sales out values could be more than doubled if this occured and importantly, the time required to service them would not necessarily be increased dramatically. Therefore this business could suit someone who is currently working on a temp/casual basis or someone's spouse who is looking for work to help supplement the family income or someone already operating a similar business and who would thus benefit from the additional volumes and economies of scale. The hours are extremely flexible and your hours of operation are limited only by the opening and closing times of the sites where you have placed your vending machines. Replacement value of the PVM's alone is approximately £28 000.00 and bare in mind that the sited PVM's will have a combination of stock or cash in them at the time of purchase which based on the current retail value of £1.20/unit means that you will automatically get back around £1200.00 of your purchase price not counting the hot drinks machine nor whatever stocks I have in my garage.
