Social Service sites,old peoples homes etc. Bi-monthly (4 days). A number of smaller schools have 3/4 cleans per year. All sites can be easily serviced with 2 operatives, many of the smaller sites can be done single handed. All payments are made by the schools or sites within an agreed 28 day period. All work is undertaken by traditional window cleaning methods, however there is huge opportunity to expand the scope of works to include the WaterFed Pole system of cleaning. This would of course cut down on labour costs and increase profits. Most of the sites I have held since 1985/86 and have built up a good reputation and have continued to canvass other sites on an annual basis with revised quotations, gaining further sites on a regular basis. There is oppportunity to expand in to further cleaning or maintenance work on the sites. The reason I am considering selling the round is one of staffing the round now. My regular subbie has reached retirement age, and as I am now semi-retired I think the time is right to either sell up or enter in to a partnership wherby I can still have an income and active roll in the round. My youngest lad, whom has just left school, is keen to take up the helm, although I consider it a better opportunity for him if he partnered with others that could bring the round in to the 21 Century, encompassing new methods and a higher level of H&S awareness. I am happy to consider all offers or ideas, as a guide price I would be looking for £30k on an outright sale of the round.
