The business has been established over 2 years and many of the cutomers would appriciate an extention of the service to include sunday delivery milk and bread are also possibilities, but due to other commitments I'm unable to offer these services. A vehicle is an absolute necessity as the round covers about 60 miles but could be economised depending on how much time you want to devote to it. At present it takes me about 3 hours per morning to do the round, starting at about 5:30am. At present I collect every 2 weeks from the customers but quite a few leave the money out every week which could be encouraged amongst the other customers to cut down on collecting time which is currently on a friday. Currently I estimate I use about £8.50 in fuel each day. The turnover varies according to customer holidays and the like but is around £33500 with a profit of £9100 befor tax.
