5 ½ days/week regular work over almost the whole year scheduled in a 2-week plan which repeats twice a month. Its an excellent chance to buy an established garden maintenance business which has been built up continuously over the last 3 years. This business would suit someone wishing to work full-time (good gardening knowledge required)or an existing garden maintenance business/contractor looking to expand. No advertising costs involved, because most work comes from recommendation. At present 18 regular good clients (12 of them weekly, 4 every other week, 2 once/month) most of them for as long as 3 years plus a private road. All charged by the hour except the private road which is paid by the residents by monthly instalments. The business generates 40 hours/week on average during the gardening season, but inevitable bad weather and so on can cause delays which have to be caught up on during workable conditions. Most clients reduce the hours during the winter, but there was always a way round this, since other work like fruit tree pruning, preparations for the following year and repair works needed doing as well.
