We have run Nautique Diving and Watersports since 1989 and the Snack Bar since 1997 and they have been very happy years. Apart from earning us a good living, working on the Harbour is a way of life in itself. We do, however, feel there is a lot more potential in both businesses for some one younger, especially Nautique with the possibility for training and charter. Neither of us are divers and therefore that is something we have never considered. We have always maintained that option with the Council in case someone else took over or we decided to employ an instructor. If we sell to some one who is inexperienced we would be quite happy to work along side for a month or whatever until they become familiar with cylinder filling, servicing, repairs and general maintenance of compressors etc. Although a professional course is required for mixing of gasses which is usually just one day. We intend to remain part of the Harbour community, as we have our own personal boat moored there and we would like to see both businesses continue to thrive. NAUTIQUE, DIVING AND WATERSPORTS
