During school holidays and half terms it is worth opening 7 days a week as the club does a lot of "Kids camps", training children over the age of 8 to sail. There is a lovely function room on the first floor with an excellent view of the water incorporating Windsor Castle on the far side. This room can be hired by club members for weddings parties etc, again they have to use the in-house caterers. On a normal week, wed, sat & sun turnover is at least £600-00, but this can increase when there is a major event on to over £5000-00. I took this on aam finding it more difficult to keep control and look after my other commitments. I have 3 regular employees and three others that I can call on for the larger events. The turnover so far is approaching £110,000-00, I will have a full years figures by the end of December. There is no living accommodation, but I would be willing to rent a 2 bedroom house, less than 5 minutes from the site, to the successful buyers if required.
