In brief, I am selling a specialist drinks wholesaling company which delivers a range of soft and alcholic beverages, by the case, to Farm Shops, Pubs, Golf Clubs, Restaurants and Garden Centers accross East Anglia. Our main product range includes Organic Fruit Presse, Cordials, Meads and Wines. Full Product List stands at over 150 items, but we also have leads for expanding into Bottled Beer Sales and Similar. This is a very simple business to run that requires minimul storage (we use a 40ft x 10ft container storage unit). Order Stock by the Pallet load. It gets delivered to the Store. Then Deliver Stock to Customers. As it stands I have 2 or 3 days per week delivering (more over Christmas) which leaves a clear 2 days for paperwork and meeting new customers and/ or suppliers. I have also attended a few "trade" shows, selling the products at "Public" prices, giving a larger profit margin on a smaller turnover. Included in the sale is:

Stock at Valuation - This is an additional cost which MUST be paid as part of the sal. Aprox Value £5000
Hired Container Storage (where the stock is, in March, Cambs) - this is privately hired but can be transfered to the new owner if required. Website - I have recently set up a webshop selling directly to the public, but as it is pretty much untried and untested I have not included it in the package. If you would like details then I can pass this over (yearly fee with the designers) or I can just shut it down. The New Owner will need to VAT register (I can help with this) and sort out storage (or take over mine). After that I will guide you through all you need to know (inc. All mentioned above). Current Turnover for this business is estimated at £48,000 per annum and the gross profit margins are generally 25% on Soft Drinks (about 90% of Sales) and 10% on Meads & Wines (about 10% of Sales)
Additional Helpful Information
I took the business on last year from a company called the Provinder with a view to expanding it alongside my other interests in the drinks industry (mostly Outside Bars), but in the last 12 months my Outside Bar Business has gone through the roof and I just don't have the time to expand the wholesaling side. The Organic Drinks market seems to be doing very well, even in these difficult economic times, mostly I suspect due to it's current trendiness amongst well off people living in the countryside. The current delivery zone (which I have split into 3 Areas) stretches from Kings Lynn, to Norwich, to Bury St. Edmunds and Colchester. So pretty much the whole of East Anglia. Whilst this is a large base to cover, it provides plenty of scope to expand. I usually pick up a new customer each week (or quite often get contacted by an old customer of the previous owner who I haven't found yet!). The ideal purchaser for this business would b:
a) someone with an existing small business with time to fit in a couple of delivery days;
b) someone looking to build a business up into a full time living or c) someone who just needs a bit extra regular income each week without having to work too hard for it!
