Personal Injury forces sale, quick sale needed hence bargain price.
I took over Nina’s sandwich bar, 17a High Street in Dec 07, and after major redecoration, including new ceiling and flooring, inner and outer painting and a re-brand, I re-opened it as the lunchbox in Jan 08.
It was always my intention to revitalise the shop, run for a year and then sell it, but unfortunately circumstances have been against me lately, and with a turbulent personal life, (including a bad injury, meaning I cannot drive and a relationship breakup) plus as my shop manager could no longer work, I have decided to bring that sale forward to as soon as possible. Until last week, a friend of mine was hoping to buy the business from me, and the sale looked set to complete last Friday, however she has had to stop the sale due to, again, personal reasons.
All in all this has led to me having had to close the shop for 2 weeks, and it is now therefore costing me money instead of making it, and I have to sell ASAP. Hence, I am now selling at a reduced price of just £5000 (just what it owes me) and as that is a bargain price, I expect (and need) a sale almost immediately. Keeping the shut shop for any longer than 1 or 2 more weeks will also be damaging to the business.
