We established ourselves in January 1992 and quickly realised the market potential in producing our own small character Cij.
Everyone who produces a consumable, be it food, beverage, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, whatever the product it must contain a traceability code which states its date of manufacture and origin, thus if a problem arises with the product specific batches can be recalled with the minimum amount of disruption (this has been Law since 1998)We have supplied our reconditioned systems into a wide range of markets.
Our coder is a non contact type system which modulates a stream of ink into tiny droplets, these are then passed through a charge tunnel or electrode, an electrostatic field then deflects the droplets onto the product, the product must be traveling along a conveyor or production line for this process to work, the ink droplets will hit the substrate and be touch dry in as little as 2 seconds, we can print onto plastics, paper, glass, wood, metals, etc, we can even print onto the yolk of an egg. Product surfaces can be smooth, rough, convex or concave, we can even print into a recess.
Our competitors sell between 600 and 1000 of these systems worldwide every month. Without serious financial backing, a manufacturing plant, sales and marketing personel we cannot compete in our market place.
We are currently 2 Engineers (over 40 years combined experience within this field) with a very strong background in R&D, design, customer support and maintenance, but sadly lack the necessary ingredients to take this from the GM Vauxhall conference to Premiership status.
We currently turn over around the £200K mark, we are buying our works premises (approx 1200 sq ft)we have a very good, strong customer base, to who we supply support for technical back-up, on going consumables, additional and replacement systems, we hire systems both long and short term.
