LOCATION (HR2 0EX)
The ancient village of EWYAS HAROLD is set deep into the GOLDEN VALLEY of HEREFORDSHIRE just 11 miles South from the county town of HEREFORD. Follow the A465 road towards ABERGAVENY and you will find the village signposted on the right (B4347) follow the road into the village and lookout for the spire of the old church, this will lead you to the pub which is set opposite the brook and old pack bridge. The village is very much “alive” and flourishing having around 1700 residents many of whom work in the county town of Hereford and has a strong sense of neighbourhood spirit with the pub being one of the villages community access points for broadband access. The pub lies close to the village church which attracts visitors all year along with the CASTLE RUINS (circa 1050) just 300 yards from the church which is one of only four castles built before Norman Conquest which saw the start of the golden age of castle building. Opposite the pub is a flowing brook which is an affluent of the River Monnow which itself runs into the River Wye. The locale is popular all year for tourists, ramblers and general historic and country enthusiasts. All together a great place to live and work within. | | | | | | EXPIRED - AWAITING DELETION | | | | | REFERENCE: | 10037 / RightBiz | | | | | | Request more information about this business.. | | ENQUIRIES: | | | | CONTACT SELLER TO GET THE SELLERS DIRECT CONTACT DETAILS AVAILABLE TO MEMBERS ONLY | | | | | | | | | |
